At almost 78 years of age, I am now starting to feel unmistakable signs of my mortality. That being said, I intend to spend more quality time with my family, especially with our grandson and disabled daughter. Therefore, effective July 1, 2022, I would like to enjoy my full retirement once again.
I thank you for granting me time to resume my liturgical ministry at the parish despite my retirement. It has been very fulfilling for me to have participated in this aspect of parish life once again, but since my priorities have changed I now have chosen to let go of my active liturgical ministry.
I continue to pray for you and the rest of the staff/clergy of the parish.
With much gratitude.
Deacon Willy
P.S. We will have a blessing for Deacon Willy at the 10:00am Mass on June 26.
