Ash Wednesday is just a couple of weeks away (February 22). It is time to return your blessed palms from last year, so that we may prepare the ashes for this year. Please bring them with you to Mass over the few weekends and place them in the basket in the vestibule/narthex.
The 2023 Annual Diocesan Appeal – Supporting our Mission Together is now underway. Our Parish Goal is $240,000. Our Parish Participation Goal is 1,000 families. Remember to bring your envelopes with you to Mass next week, if you have not already, mail it in or donate online.

Sunday, February 5 at the 8am, 9am & 11am Mass, we will celebrate a ritual of welcome for the children in our parish who have entered into a time of preparation for their First Holy Communion.
Our second collection is restricted to our Worship Space Expansion fund. After many months of discussions, the parish Finance Committee, who have advised that we look to the future.
January marks the beginning of the third quarter of the fiscal year. Thank you for your continued support of the mission and ministries of our parish. During the month of January, our average weekly collection was $19,804 (7% increase vs. Jan 22).
We have returned to Ordinary Time. The white vestments of our feasts have given way to green as the celebratory poinsettias and pine trees have disappeared from the sanctuary. We return to the regular readings.

Like other couples in our parish or family, you may be wondering if your marriage is fully recognized by the Catholic Church. Catholic Church law ordinarily requires baptized Roman Catholics to marry before a priest or deacon.
One of the “strategic pillars” of the national Eucharistic Revival is to “contemplate and proclaim the doctrine of the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist through the Truth of our teaching, [the] Beauty of our worship, and [the] Goodness of our accompaniment of persons in poverty and those who are vulnerable.
